From the President:
The Board hopes that each of you had a Happy Thanksgiving.
A reminder: tomorrow is our next scheduled membership meeting. Mayor Van Johnson will be meeting with us and speaking about his plans for his next term. We'll also be asking him about tourism issues and other activities affecting the quality of life for downtown residents. As usual the meeting will begin at 5:30 with the social period and the meeting starts at 6. We will be meeting at the Coastal Georgia Center, 305 Fahm St. We look forward to seeing you there.
One note concerning the Holiday Tour of Homes: we have filled all the docent and street guide positions required for the tour. Our thanks to all of you who signed up. If you signed up but your plans have changed, please let us know immediately so we can find a replacement. With that in mind, we have started a wait list. If you are interested in volunteering but didn't get a chance to sign up, please send Joyce McDonald, the tour director, an email at holidaytour@savannahdna.org and she will let you know if a vacancy opens.
