LARCENY, ENTERING AUTO; 191203109 600 blk of Abercorn St. (Beat 24). 12/03/2019 14:00 – 16:00 hrs.: The complainant stated she arrived at this location after dropping off passengers. While inside, she realized she didn’t have her phone or wallet with her, so she went back outside to her vehicle to get the items. She wasn’t able to find her property in her vehicle and realized one of the minors she was transporting had left her back door unlocked to the vehicle.

LARCENY, ENTERING AUTO; 191118006 200 blk of Drayton St. (Beat 25). 11/18/2019 03:17 hrs.: The complainant stated while he was unloading merchandise and he noticed the trailer door swing open. He yelled at the subject and the subject dropped something and ran. He stated while he was inventorying the trailer, he found a busted box of cigarette cartons with 13 cartons of cigarettes missing from the box. The incident was caught on the Parker’s cameras.
LARCENY, ENTERING AUTO; 191130018 Houston St/E Perry St. (Beat 25). 11/30/2019 04:00 hrs.: Officers were called to the area in reference to a black male in the square at Habersham St and E State St looking through vehicles. When officers got in the area, they were unable to locate anyone matching that description. Officers did locate a vehicle that was unlocked with the driver door open. There were items on the floor of the vehicle and the middle compartment to the vehicle was left open. Officers attempted to call the owner, but did not make contact.
LARCENY, ENTERING AUTO; 191202019 Drayton St/E Macon St. (Beat 25). 12/01/2019 17:00 – 12/02/2019 06:15 hrs.: The complainant stated sometime during the night someone had broken into his vehicle. The front passenger window of the vehicle was broken and the vehicle had been rummaged through and items were missing from the center console of the vehicle. The vehicle that was parked in front of the complainant’s vehicle also had the passenger window damaged. Officers were unable to make contact with the owner of this vehicle. The complainant did not wish to have his vehicle processed.
LARCENY, ENTERING AUTO; 191206123 00 blk E Liberty St. (Beat 25). 12/06/2019 12:30 – 17:00 hrs.: Officers met with the parking manager and hotel manager of the Hilton in reference to a vehicle that had been entered. The vehicle was found with the hood up and all the door unlocked, even though the parking manager was positive that all the doors were locked when she parked the vehicle. The owner of the vehicle advised there was a lot of jewelry missing from a suitcase that had been left in the rear seat of the vehicle as well as some change.
AUTO THEFT; 191206093 200 blk Bull St. (Beat 25). 12/06/2019 12:00 – 16:00 hrs.: The complainant stated he parked his vehicle as he always does on W Perry, so he can go play his violin in Chippewa Square. He stated he always leaves his keys on the passenger seat and leaves the vehicle unlocked. When he returned, his vehicle was no longer there. He checked with the City of Savannah to make sure the vehicle wasn’t towed before calling the police. Vehicle Recovered, 1 Suspect Arrested
LARCENY, BICYCLE; 191207094 300 blk Bull St. (Beat 25). 12/07/2019 13:29 – 13:32 hrs.: The complainant stated he parked his bicycle behind the building in the bike rack before going to work. He advised his bicycle lock broke two days prior, so the bicycle was not locked up. When he got out of work his bicycle was no longer there. He described the bicycle as a black racing style bicycle with worn out handles and tape on the right handle of the bicycle.
LARCENY, ENTERING AUTO; 191209080 500 blk E Jones St. (Beat 25). 12/08/2019 09:00 – 12/09/2019 15:30 hrs.: The complainant stated he had locked his vehicle when he came home and parked the vehicle across the street from his residence. He stated on 12/9/19 his wife started receiving messages from the bank that someone was trying to purchase merchandise from Walmart, as well as other texts from other retailers regarding fraudulent purchases, so he went out to his vehicle to check for his wallet, which he had left in the console of the vehicle. He noticed that his wallet was gone as well as a backpack that was in the back of his vehicle and another smaller backpack with sports gear were missing from the vehicle.
LARCENY, FROM BUILDING; 191211022 E Hull St/Price St. (Beat 25). 12/11/2019 07:25 hrs.: The complainant stated that her child’s father, who she lives with, had taken her phone and money from her. She stated that he ran from the residence. Officers canvassed the area and were able to locate Mr. Guillory at E Liberty St and Habersham St. She positively identified him as the person that had taken her property. Mr. Guillory was detained and he had the victim’s phone and the amount of money she had described to officers on his person. It was also discovered that he had a warrant from Savannah State University for his arrest. Suspect Arrested

AUTO THEFT; 191117027 500 blk Barnard St. (Beat 25). 11/16/2019 19:00 hrs. – 11/17/2019 08:20 hrs.: The complainant reported she saw her vehicle around 1900 hrs. when she parked the vehicle. She stated when she came out to the vehicle the next morning, her vehicle was missing. She stated that she had left the keys in the vehicle. Vehicle Recovered
LARCENY, FROM BUILDING; 191123046 300 blk Montgomery St. (Beat 25). 11/23/2019 04:00 hrs.: The manager reported that their cameras showed the entrance gate to the employee parking being held open by a rolling garage bin and the suspect walk under the gate and into the garage where the employees park. The suspect then grabbed a metal bar and used it to pry open the freezer door. The only items that were taken were food items.
LARCENY, SHOPLIFTING; 191205051 600 blk Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. (Beat 25). 12/05/2019 10:15 hrs.: The business reported a black male wearing dark pants, and a gray jacket had stolen paper towels, and a bottle of Dove shampoo from the store.
LARCENY, ENTERING AUTO; 191208042 300 blk W Charlton St. (Beat 25). 12/07/2019 17:00 – 12/08/2019 12:15 hrs.: The complainant advised he may have left his vehicle unlocked, after he went out to it to grab something. When he went to the vehicle the next morning, he noticed his belongings scattered around the vehicle and the center console had been rifled through. He advised coins that were given to him in the military were missing from the vehicle as well as his girlfriend’s spare key to her car. His girlfriend was currently in New York and she was going to overnight him the key to her vehicle so he could get her locks changed on it.

LARCENY, SHOPLIFTING; 191119028 100 blk of W Broughton St. (Beat 26). 11/18/2019 18:30 – 19:00 hrs.: The business stated there were five black females and one black male that came in the store and were acting strange. She believed they were all together, and were strategically placing themselves around the store in order to distract her employee and herself from watching them.
ROBBERY; 191202138 00 blk W Oglethorpe Ave. (Beat 26). 12/02/2019 21:20 hrs.: The victim advised he was smoking in the lane behind his job when two suspects walked past him from Whitaker St. Suspect #1 turned around and suspect #2 stayed a short distance away. Suspect #1 pointed a small silver semiautomatic handgun at him and said give me your phone and wallet. According to the victim he told them he did not have his wallet and handed him his phone.
AGGRAVATED ASSAULT; 191202131 200 blk W Broughton St. (Beat 26). 12/02/2019 19:00 hrs.: Officer were dispatched to McDonald’s in reference to a fight in progress. When they arrived they were advised that employees were fighting a homeless male. The assistant manager advised the suspect came into the business and was being very loud and disruptive towards customers, so they asked him to leave the business. He continued to be loud and use profanity, and walked out of the business and came back in continuing to be disorderly. He then walked out of the business and walked up to the walk up window around the corner where he began to hit the window. Mr. Banner then went outside to advise the suspect to leave the area at which point the suspect pulled a knife and walked toward Mr. Banner and was threatening him as he was walking toward him. Suspect Arrested.
LARCENY, SHOPLIFTING; 191203096 300 blk W Broughton St. (Beat 26). 12/03/2019 15:00 hrs.: The owner of the business stated a black male came into the business and grabbed two jackets and hid them under his black coat. While he was concealing the jackets he asked, “if they had seen a short black female come into the store?”, and then proceeded to walk outside the business going east on Broughton St. She stated that she immediately called police when she reviewed the video. She stated a similar incident had happened a few weeks prior and was reported under CRN 191021092.

LARCENY, ENTERING AUTO; 191117079 00 blk Houston St. (Beat 26). 11/17/2019 19:50 – 20:00 hrs.: The complainant stated he and his family arrived home at 1940 hrs. and unpacked a few items from the vehicle, and came back out about 10 minutes later at 1950 hrs. and was positive that he locked the vehicle. Around 2000 hrs., he went to go get something from the vehicle for his wife, and noticed the glove compartment and arm rest compartment were open. He stated he didn’t believe anything was stolen at first, but his wife then informed him that her purse and their children’s iPad’s were in the vehicle. His wife then started receiving notifications that credit card was being used at McDonalds on Broughton, at Broughton Market on Bay St, and at Family Dollar on Wheaton St.
AUTO THEFT; 191117077 108 E York St. (Beat 26). 11/17/2019 19:15 – 19:20 hrs.: The complainant that she is an Uber Eats driver and was picking up an order at Zunzi’s when she parked in front of the business and left her vehicle running and unlocked when she went inside. She stated when she came back out about 5 to 7 minutes later her vehicle was missing. Vehicle Recovered/Suspect Arrested.
AUTO THEFT; 191120036 500 blk E Broughton St. (Beat 26). 11/20/2019 09:45 hrs.: The complainants, who are Aramark employees, stated they arrived at the location to empty the trash cans. They stated they left their work truck parked, unlocked and running in a SCAD parking lot. When they returned outside to the vehicle, they found the driver’s side door was open and it had struck another vehicle that was parked in the same parking lot. The complainants stated they did not cause the accident and believed that someone attempted to steal the truck before striking the other vehicle.
AUTO THEFT; 191121002 00 blk Bull St. (Beat 26). 11/20/2019 18:00 – 11/21/2019 01:14 hrs.: The complainant stated he parked his truck in the space and paid for his parking. He stated that he left the truck unlocked and when he returned his truck was no longer where he parked it.
LARCENY, SHOPLIFTING; 191123009 00 blk E River St. (Beat 26). 11/23/19 1:24 hrs.: Suspect was caught in the process of stealing bracelets from a vendor tent at the River St Outdoor Market by the Off Duty Officer working the event. Suspect Arrested.
ROBBERY; 191125003 500 blk E Bay Ln. (Beat 26). 11/24/2019 11:15 hrs.: The victim, Mr. Jose Diaz, advised on November 24, 2019 around 11:15AM he had an appointment with the Savannah Housing Authority. As Mr. Diaz was walking from the parking lot of the Housing Authority, a black female approached him and tried to take his phone from his hand. As Mr. Diaz fights to keep his phone, two other subjects go through his pockets and remove his keys to his truck. The three subjects then fled the scene. When Mr. Diaz returns to the parking lot a short time later, he observed his truck was no longer there. Vehicle Recovered.
LARCENY, ENTERING AUTO; 191125051 Bull St/E St Julian St. (Beat 26). 11/25/2019 09:30 – 10:00 hrs.: The complainant reported someone had entered his vehicle and stole his wallet, Dewalt sawzall, and gym bag. He stated he had left his vehicle unlocked. He stated that he noticed a charge at the Fuels and Pantry located at 1220 Montgomery St. after the wallet was stolen, and he had called his bank to cancel the card that had been used.
LARCENY, FROM BUILDING; 191125088 00 blk W Bay St. (Beat 26). 11/24/2019 19:30 – 22:30 hrs.: The complainant stated she was staying at the Hyatt and left the room to go to dinner and when they returned the crib they ordered was delivered. When they woke up the next morning, she realized her wallet was missing from the room. She stated the wallet had $2,000 cash in the wallet.
LARCENY, FROM BUILDING; 191129070 00 blk W Bay St. (Beat 26). 11/24/2019 17:00 – 11/29/2019 08:00 hrs.: The complainant stated he and his wife checked into the Hyatt on 11/24/19 and stayed in room 706. He stated during the stay he had his gun in his suitcase in the hostler. He stated while at the hotel the maid cleaned the room on Wednesday and he checked out on 11/29/19. When he arrived back home, he discovered his gun was not in the holster in the suitcase.
BURGLARY, RESIDENTIAL; 191212044 500 blk E Oglethorpe Ave. (Beat 26). 12/02/2019 12:00 – 12/12/2019 11:44 hrs.: Officers responded to the location in reference to a burglary. The complainant stated his front door was unlocked, which was not how he left his residence. When officers cleared the residence they discovered the back door was broken and a jacket was laying in the middle of an upstairs room. The complainant advised a Makita Miter box draw saw was missing from the residence.

BURGLARY, COMMERCIAL; 191127046 300 blk W Bay St. (Beat 27). 11/22/2019 04:05 – 04:11 hrs.: The maintenance employee stated he had found the security bars on the rear west side of the building had been broken off. He notified the general manager who reviewed the camera footage for the hotel, where they observed a black male breaking the bars on the rear of the building. The male then was seen taking a black trash bag and entering into the kitchen area of the hotel. The male can be seen about 6 minutes later leaving the hotel with the black trash bag full.
ROBBERY; 191130021 500 Blk W Bay St. (Beat 27). 11/30/2019 02:00 hrs.: The victim advised around 0200 hrs. he was walking back to his car with a female from 309 West (bar), when he was hit on the back of the head which caused him to fall to the ground. He stated when he fell his phone came out of his pocket and the suspect grabbed the phone and started running towards Yamacraw.
LARCENY, SHOPLIFTING; 191130067 00 blk Barnard St. (Beat 27). 11/30/2019 11:30 – 15:00 hrs.: The complainant stated he left between $3,000 - $4,000 on the TV stand in his room. He stated he doesn’t use the safe and didn’t count his money, but knows he carries around $5,000 with him when he travels. He stated when he returned to his room, he observed the housekeeper getting on the elevator. He went into his room and discovered it had been cleaned and his passport was on the floor and the money was not on the TV stand.
LARCENY, ENTERING AUTO; 191202054 300 blk W St. Julian St. (Beat 27). 11/30/2019 17:00 – 12/01/2019 06:30 hrs.: The complainant stated she parked her vehicle near City Market. She stated when she left she rolled her windows down and didn’t notice that her rear passenger window was broken. She stated when she noticed the damage, she realized her car speakers were missing from the vehicle, a new Xbox One, a surround sound, as well as her husband’s wedding ring and $400 cash.
LARCENY, ENTERING AUTO; 191210066 W Bay St/Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. (Beat 27). 12/06/2019 22:00 – 12/07/2019 03:00 hrs.: The complainant came into headquarters to report her vehicle had been broken into while she was downtown on 12/6/19. She stated she parked her vehicle near the BP gas station at MLK and W Bay St., when she went to Club Elan. She stated she locked the vehicle, but when she came back to the vehicle it was unlocked and a small wallet with various items, including a wedding ring, money, and debit/credit cards was stolen from the vehicle.
LARCENY, ENTERING AUTO; 191215056 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd./W St. Julian St. (Beat 27). 12/15/19 10:30 hrs – 12:50 hrs. The reporting party advised that 2 suitcases, 2 Microsoft Surface Pro 3s, 1 Iphone XR, a book bad, and a makeup bag were stolen from her vehicle. Suitcases, Surface Pros, and book bag were recovered.
BURGLARY, COMMERCIAL; 191216125 300 blk W Bay St. (Beat 26). 12/16/19 19:30 hrs.: The reporting party advised they witnessed the suspect tampering with the fire alarm. The fire alarm was pulled and the property was damaged by fire extinguishers. The suspect admitted to getting into the property “through the fence.”
