DNA Accepting Community Grant Applications

The Downtown Neighborhood Association of Savannah, GA Inc. (DNA) is accepting proposals for 2018 Community Grants. Each year, the DNA invites community groups to apply for a Community Grant to help fund a project or initiative that will benefit the downtown area of Savannah.

Funds raised through DNA’s Annual Holiday Tour of Homes support downtown Savannah’s Landmark Historic District in a number of ways. One of those is through the DNA's Community Grant Program.

Community organizations seeking funds are asked to select one of the following categories as the primary basis for its proposal:

  • Beautification / Improvements in the Downtown Area 
  • Arts and Cultural Life
  • Youth Development 
  • Humanitarian Causes

Proposals may be submitted online at or at Arrangements can be made for organizations who may need to submit a proposal in writing.

The deadline for proposal submission is Wednesday, March 14, 2018. Organizations will be notified in late April of their proposal status. Grant awards will be distributed at the DNA’s Annual Meeting and Spring Picnic on Tuesday, May 9 at the Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum.
