Short-Term Vacation Rentals

The City of Savannah recently passed a zoning text amendment and ordinance to regulate short-term vacation rentals. Drop-in sessions will be held the week of December 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Sub-Basement of City Hall, to update short-term vacation rental operators of the new procedures. Please note, changes will go into effect on January 1, 2015.

Once the 2015 Business Tax Certificate has been updated for the upcoming year, it will be posted on the City’s website and a link provided on this site. Please note, the Short-term Vacation Rental application must be approved before filing for a Business Tax Certificate. In the meantime, listed below is a copy of the Hotel Motel Tax Collection Form.
