DNA Now Accepting Proposals for Community Grants

The Downtown Neighborhood Association of Savannah (DNA) raises funds to support community organizations and neighborhood initiatives that impact the greater downtown area of Savannah.   Funds are raised through the DNA’s Holiday Tour of Homes and Inns. Last December’s event raised more than $40,000 which will now go back to the community in the form of grants and projects.

The DNA is looking for grant proposals that support the downtown area in the following ways:

Youth Development
Humanitarian Causes
Beautification/Improvement in the Downtown Area
Arts and Cultural Life

Information about the grant and application process can be found by clicking HERE. The deadline for submission is March 20, 2019.

Questions should be directed to Kathleen Brenneman, kbrenneman@savannahDNA.org or PO Box 9416, Savannah, GA 31412.

The applications are reviewed by the DNA Board of Directors to determine if they meet the goals of the DNA’s Neighborhood Initiatives and Community Partner Program.  Grants will be awarded by the first of May.

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in the Historic Landmark District, protect Savannah’s unique downtown environment, and advocate public policies which support these objectives.

Applicants wishing to email or mail a proposal separately may do so. Please forward to KBrenneman@SavannahDNA.org or mail to P.O. Box 9416, Savannah, GA 31412.
